Business Model 5: E-book
Model
Although this model is not applicable
specifically to the major theme behind the other business
models which is: get website traffic=income, I feel that I
would do you a disservice by omitting it. E-books are big
business on the Internet; many have made ordinary people
into millionaires.
If you do not think that you are capable of
writing an E-book, why not try it? For those skeptics among
you, ask yourself the question? How many people bought the
book I am reading and during the same day and had there
order fulfilled automatically? If you could write an
informative E-book on a subject that people are interested
in you could get a very nice second income or earn your
income purely from this source.
If you choose this business model you will
not need a large website (discussed later), but will need a
range of software so that you can sell your e-book, and
distribute it automatically and securely. I have outlined
all that is needed to fulfill this business model because
we will be focusing our attention on the remaining four
business models (1-4) for much of the web building
information to follow. You will need the following:
- Website Domain and Hosting Account
- Account set up with http://www.clickbank.net
- Small website selling your E-book and with technical
info about how to download it etc.
- E-book software that stores your E-book securely for
customers to download. This is an important area as
Copyright theft is regularly taking place on the internet
daily. Why work hard on your publication only to let
someone else steal it and sell on their websites? You can
get this from Resources at the end of this
publication.
- E-mail software. This allows you to automate your
entire email, but more importantly extract e-book codes and
password from your secure E-book software and distribute
automatically.
-
This
means your E-book Model runs itself, on autopilot, whilst you
sleep you can be making money. This is covered in more depth in
Automation Secrets.
