Content is King

You have probably heard of the three most important things to consider when purchasing a property: position, position and position. The same could be said when building a website: content, content and content. Although there are many other techniques of importance, the content of your website is clearly the most important single factor that will affect your website ranking.

So what is good content? Ask yourself what websites you visit to find out information? Why? Invariably people go to websites with easy navigation and great content. The Global 7 Website software takes care of the easy navigation, leaving you to build great content.

As you build your website, imagine you are a prospective buyer or website visitor looking for information. Does your website answer every question they may have? Think, and then build more pages, which then lead to other questions/subjects.

When you are building your website you will need to balance easy to read and understand text with keyword generation. This means mentioning a keyword/phrase perhaps more than you would in normal speech, but not to keyword stuff any pages.

Learn about your subject. Ask experts questions. Surf other websites, then in your own words write quality content on the subject.

Each subject on your website has many sub areas which can also be turned into unique web pages. From your Keyword research you should have the first 100 pages to work on. Your website will never be finished if you really want a successful website business. There will always be something new to add, but initially the hard work of building a large site with great content can only be achieved by disciplining yourself to x amount per day. Just think a page a day will be a 365 page website in one year. Set yourself a reasonable target and stick to it. Remember content is King.
